π World Suicide Prevention Day β September 10 π
Today, Bethpage Central Park Kiwanis stands together with our community to recognize World Suicide Prevention Day and to remind everyone that service begins with caring for one another.
As Kiwanians, we believe that a stronger community is built when we show up, lend a hand, listen, and support those who may be struggling. Whether it is helping a family in need, supporting our children and veterans, serving our neighbors during times of crisis, or simply being there for someone who needs a friend β every act of kindness matters.
Suicide prevention is not just a conversation for one day. It is a commitment to creating a community where people feel seen, valued, supported, and never alone.
Today, letβs make a difference in the simplest way possible: check on a neighbor, reach out to a friend, listen without judgment, and let someone know you care.
π Together, through compassion and community service, we can make a difference β one person, one family, and one act of kindness at a time.
If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988 for free, confidential support, available 24/7.
