2026 LI Cares Food Drive
On March 28th, 2026 the Bethpage Central Park Kiwanis Club held a food drive in the King Kullen shopping center to support the LI Cares Food Pantry. We’d like to thank our member Cindy Garvin for chairing the drive, and providing the necessary liason activity between LI Cares, and King Kullen. Boxes and Boxes of non-perishable items were collected. Along with the food items, many generous Bethpage shoppers contributed cash donations. The cash donations were turned into King Kullen gift cards, and were donated to the Saint Martin Of Tours Food Pantry.
Yesterday's 9/11 memorial ceremony was heartbreakingly beautiful. God bless all the families who lost a loved one to the senseless terrorist attacks and those who've lost them since. God bless our first responders who tan toward the unknown danger and those who were inspired to become first responders after that fateful day. God bless our military in their neverending battle on the war on terrorism. And my God forever bless the United States of America. ... See MoreSee Less
