2026 Kiwanis Bethpage High School Scholarships
On May 26th 2026, the Bethpage Central Park Kiwanis Club awarded three graduating students $500 scholarships. The Bethpage Kiwanis Community Service Award went to Lauren Como. The F. Joseph Smallarz Memorial Scholarship for Skilled Trades was awarded to Giuseppe Licandro. The Debra Auer Memorial Scholarship for Community and Volunteer Work was awarded to Ava Gianfrancesco.
The Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Center DPG Al and PFL Rita Bevilacua Scholarship of $1000 was awarded to Daniel Dziurka.
Yesterday's 9/11 memorial ceremony was heartbreakingly beautiful. God bless all the families who lost a loved one to the senseless terrorist attacks and those who've lost them since. God bless our first responders who tan toward the unknown danger and those who were inspired to become first responders after that fateful day.
